Classic Hardwood
Floor Of all the patterns, styles, and woods used to make hardwood floors, the classic White Oak strip floor pictured on the left has been America's overwhelming favorite for more than a century. And with good reason. It is solid wood. There is a look to solid lumber floors that veneers
and man-made products lack. Each board has its own grain pattern-different
from every other Oak board ever made. Under any light source, solid floors
have a richness and a deep natural beauty that adds to the comfort of
living. And such a floor provides the only truly universal background for
any decorating scheme. |
The chart on this page shows
the various grades of White Oak flooring
available from MAX FLOORING, INC. Flooring is separated into grades: Select & Better,
#1 Common and #2 Common purely on its
appearance, as affected by natural characteristics such as knots, dark
stains, and other features of the tree. All grades will deliver a solid,
serviceable floor when installed by an experienced professional.
MAX FLOORING, INC flooring carries the certified grade labels, shown
on ever bundle. All grading and milling practices are inspected regularly
in MAX FLOORING, INC factories to insure uniformity and compliance
with grade standards.
